EasiPoint Bond Plus

The formation of an adequate bond between the bedding/jointing mortars and the stone paving elements is vital if the overall design of the structure is to perform adequately.

Minimum bond strengths are prescribed within BS7533 (Part 7) but their attainment is a function of both the mortar characteristics, the nature of the stone and its surface profile.

EasiPoint Bond Plus Mortar is designed for use as a “scrub coat” and is applied to the underside of paving slabs prior to laying in order to improve bond strength. EasiPoint Bond Plus Gauging Liquid is also available.

Slabfix

For paved areas subject to traffic and heavy lateral loading, EasiPoint Slabfix provides a durable and highly resistant method of permanently fixing paving slabs prior to pointing.

It can be used to fix slabs to a variety of sturdy surfaces such as precast concrete or asphalt.

A polyester resin-based mix, it has excellent adhesion properties, is resistant to road salt and petrochemicals. It is exceptionally strong, achieving a compressive strength of 80 N/mm² under typical conditions after just one day and can even be applied in damp conditions.

Applications include paved area, driveways, ramps, parking areas and walkways.
